Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? We’ve answered the most common ones about our services, pricing, process, and what to expect when working with us.

  • Can these pre-built templates be customised?
Absolutely, having worked with hundreds of small business owners we have come to realise that a blank canvas takes a lot of time and can be a very costly exercise to build. To make it easier for small business owners, we’ve decided it’s best to have templates for you to review live demo sites and get a feel of what might suit your business best. All our templates have been built with customisation in mind, and our team will go through with you what’s possible and what’s not during our kick-off call.
  • Do your packages come with a domain?
All our packages come with a free Google domain. However, if you wish to use or purchase your own custom domain, we’re happy to connect it to your website.
  • How long does it take to build a website?
This depends on the number of pages and content required for your website. In general, we can deliver most websites within 2-3 weeks if no major changes are required from the initial design and content drafts we send over.
  • Given the websites are based on templates, will I end up with the same website as someone else?
Absolutely not! All our websites are customised based on your branding. When we say template, we are referring to the framework and architecture layout of the website, not the aesthetic looks.
  • Do you write the content for us?
Yes, all our packages include content production. We will research, write and supply stock photos that’s relevant to your business if needed. Our licensed library of over 400,000 stock images is ready to support your visual needs.
  • How much does hosting cost with having my website hosted on Google?
At the moment, Google offers free hosting for up to 15GB. However, that is offered at Google’s discretion. For us to build the site, you will have to sign up for a free Google account. Once the website is built, you will own the relationship with Google and any future changes they make to their hosting services.

  • How do I get my business listed on Google?
Getting your business listed on Google requires setting up a Google My Business account. After filling out the listing details, your application will go through a verification process to ensure your business does exist at the registered location. Virtually On simplifies the process by customising an onboarding form for new clients to fill in and later optimise based on the keyword and competitor analysis.
  • Can you guarantee that my business will rank on search engines?
No. Virtually On bases our services on practices and guidelines of SEO industry standards, and we don’t affiliate with any search engine. As we don’t control or manipulate search results, we cannot guarantee any specific search engine rankings for your listing. Furthermore, SEO is an ongoing process, so it may take time to see results, depending on the competition.
  • Do I still need a Google Business Profile if my business doesn’t have a physical location?
Yes! Even without a physical store, having a listing on Google My Business still benefits your local SEO. In other words, your business has a better chance of being found by targeted customers within your area and standing out from the competition.
  • What is a Google Business Profile and why does my business need it?
Google Business profiles appear in Google search results and Google Maps when a user is looking for a particular business near them. Getting your business listed on Google helps to boost your business's visibility, making it easier to attract customers in your local area. The reviews collected through your listing can also build trust with targeted customers, turning leads into sa
  • If I create a Google Business profile for my business, does that mean my business will always come up first
No. Google exists to provide their users with answers they are looking for, so they use an algorithm to decide which business to show first in the search results. However, Virtually On can help your listing climb the search ranks by optimising it with relevant keywords. We perform keyword and competitor analysis as part of our onboarding process for this specific reason.
  • Can I use my logo for branded merchandise?
Of course! All of our logos are vector based, allowing them to be enlarged to any size without losing quality. As the owner of the rights to your logo, you’re free to use it commercially.
  • How does Copyright and Trademark Registration work?
On completion of the logo design project, and once payment has been made, the copyright for the final agreed logo is yours. Copyright protection means that the copyright holder of the work retains exclusive rights to print, display and distribute the design. This is what's transferred to you, meaning you can do anything you want with the logo Trademark registration, on the other hand, is something that will need to be carried out via IP Australia or your lawyer. Trademarking the logo will allow you to add the ® symbol, and it also provides legal protection to anything confusingly similar within the locations and categories you register the logo in.
  • What if I don’t like the first set of logos at all?
We'll work together to establish what's not working and why, and we'll work out a direction to proceed with the project. It's worth noting that the designs presented to you will be based on the goals agreed upon before the design phase begins. This will include information about your business, competition and target audience. It will also include any specific requirements or expectations you may have, so this is an unlikely scenario. We do consult you throughout the project to ensure the design achieves all goals agreed upon, which will include any specific requests made before starting the designs. It’s unlikely to happen. However, if after attempts to find an ample solution you still dislike the designs presented to you, you don’t need to make full payment. Before starting the project, we charge a 50% deposit which is non-refundable, but if you don’t like the work done for you, you don’t need to pay the final 50% and we will retain ownership of all designs, ideas and work carried out during the process.
  • How long does a logo design take?
The turnaround time for a logo from order to completion is typically 2-3 weeks. The timeframe is dependent on response time and any additional changes to designs. Depending on the package you select, following the design phase, you will be presented with 2, 4, or 6 logo options based upon agreed objectives. From there, you will select one, and we will then make the included number of revisions.
